Junior Investment Analyst

Our firm seeks a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Investment Analyst to assist in portfolio construction, performance monitoring, and reporting. This role involves working closely with senior professionals to analyze market trends, evaluate investment opportunities, and optimize portfolios for maximum returns.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough financial and market research across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, FX, and alternatives, to inform investment decisions.
  • Assist in constructing and maintaining portfolios, analyzing their performance, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Execute trades under the guidance of senior professionals or family principals, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and risk management strategies.
  • Prepare detailed investment memos, risk analysis reports, and performance summaries to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain and update market models, dashboards, and investment tools to ensure accurate data analysis and visualization.
  • Monitor macroeconomic trends and provide insightful analysis to the investment team, helping to identify potential opportunities and risks.
  • Ensure compliance with internal investment guidelines and regulatory requirements, maintaining a culture of transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in financial principles and concepts.
  • Entry-level candidates or those with 1-2 years' experience are welcome, as we prioritize skills and adaptability over tenure.
  • Familiarity with financial statements, basic valuation methods, and trading platforms is essential, with proficiency in Excel and exposure to Bloomberg, Python, or other financial tools a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with MAS Designated Investments under Section 13O is also highly desirable, demonstrating a commitment to understanding complex regulatory frameworks.
