Responsibilities Listen to and evaluate new music tracks, primarily within the pop genre Provide detailed written feedback on song quality, genre, style, and commercial appeal Rate each track using a standardized system Compare tracks to similar songs currently in the market and highlight unique features Identify strengths and areas for improvement in each submission Use audio editing tools, such as Studio One, to isolate or analyze specific elements of a track when necessary Maintain a high level of attention to detail and consistency in evaluations Communicate findings clearly and professionally Skills and Requirements Demonstrated experience in music evaluation, reviewing, or audio editing Strong familiarity with pop music trends and current market releases Proficiency with audio editing software, preferably Studio One or similar tools Excellent written communication skills for providing clear, concise feedback Ability to critically assess music from both technical and listener perspectives Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage flexible project timelines Passion for music and a keen ear for identifying potential hits Previous experience isolating or removing instruments from tracks is a plus About Twine Twine is a leading freelance marketplace connecting top freelancers, consultants, and contractors with companies needing creative and tech expertise.
