Software Engineer: AI Prompt Specialist

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team as an AI Prompt Specialist. In this role, you will work with cutting-edge technology to craft effective prompts and workflows that guide AI models in producing accurate, maintainable, and secure code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AI-Generated Output Optimization: Design, evaluate, and refine AI-generated outputs to meet software and business requirements.
  • Scalable Enterprise Applications: Architect scalable enterprise-grade applications using AI-assisted development practices.
  • Rapid Prototyping: Build rapid prototypes and iterate quickly using GenAI tools, then refine toward production quality.
  • Integration and DevOps: Integrate AI into existing software delivery pipelines and DevOps processes.
  • Code Review: Perform rigorous code reviews of both human-written and AI-generated code.
  • Maintenance and Documentation: Maintain documentation, prompt libraries, and reuse patterns for internal efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, designers, and engineers.
  • Mentorship: Mentor team members in effective prompt engineering practices.
  • Ethical AI Usage: Champion ethical and responsible AI usage in engineering workflows.

Required Skills:

  • AI-Assisted Coding Tools: Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cursor, or similar.
  • Full-Stack Development: Strong grounding in full-stack development and ability to validate AI-generated code across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
  • Modern Web Frameworks: Familiarity with modern web frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue, Go, Python).
  • Cloud Platforms: Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architecture.
  • Containerization and CI/CD: Experience with containerization (Docker), CI/CD, and version control workflows (Git, GitHub Actions).
  • Databases: Working knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
  • Secure Software Development Practices: Exposure to secure software development practices and LLM safety.

Qualifications:

  • Computer Science Degree: Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience in software engineering with demonstrable use of AI tools in code generation, testing, or optimization.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience leading or mentoring in AI-enhanced development teams is a plus.
