We are on the lookout for talented 3D modelers to join our team. As a 3D modeller, you will be responsible for bringing virtual worlds and characters to life.

Your role will involve interpreting concept art and sketches to create environments and props. You must be well-versed with industry-standard 3D modelling programs and tools. Good spatial skills and a well-honed sense of colour and design will help you succeed in this job.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create and manage digital assets
  • Interpret concept art and sketches to create environments and props
  • Follow design guidelines, asset naming conventions and other technical constraints
  • Prototype and iterate on models and characters based on feedback from team members
  • Create textures and UV maps
  • Optimize, refine and correct model geometry
  • Work with artists and programmers to execute projects on time
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in 3D design, capture and modelling tools and technologies

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Expert level knowledge of 3D design and modeling tools such as Blender, 3DS Max, Substance Painter, Sketchup, ZBrush etc.
  • An eye for detail and good visualization skills
  • Ability to take feedback and make changes as required
  • Good communication skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in 3D design and modeling
  • Technical diploma in 3D modelling or a degree in fine arts
  • Some scripting experience (e.g. Python) will be an added bonus
  • Some experience in procedural modelling (e.g. Houdini) will be an added bonus
