RF Test Specialist

As an RF Test Specialist, you will be responsible for the thorough testing of RF modules, components, and sub-systems using various instruments. This role requires hands-on experience with RF test equipment and basic knowledge of RF principles and measurement techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform rigorous testing of RF modules, components, and sub-systems using Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, etc.
  • Conduct manual soldering and rework, including fine-pitch and small-size components (0402, QFNs, etc.) for debugging and repairs.
  • Assist engineers in prototype validation, failure analysis, and production testing.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment and tools.
  • Record and document test results accurately in internal systems.
  • Support continuous improvement of test procedures and workflows.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

The ideal candidate should possess a NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering field. A minimum of 1 year in RF testing is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good working attitude are also essential. Fluency in English, both conversational and written, is required. Self-motivation and goal-oriented mindset are necessary for success in this role.

Requirements:
  • NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering field.
  • Minimum 1 year in RF testing will be an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of RF principles and measurement techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with manual soldering.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good working attitude.
  • Fluent in English, conversational and written.
  • Self-motivated & goal oriented.
  • Work in a team environment and interface with all levels within the organization.
  • Cultural Sensitivity.
  • Willing to work overtime if needed.
