We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer to join our team at ELEMENT MATERIALS TECHNOLOGY SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Metallurgy Lab Manager in running day-to-day laboratory affairs, including site and field testing.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure work compliance to ISO 17025 requirements
- Perform metallurgical, hardness, and chemical testing
- Coordinate with clients and third-party witnesses on testing details
- Manage technicians to carry out work as per the planning schedule
- Assist in failure analysis and perform metallographic examinations on various materials
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a laboratory in the field of metallurgy testing
- Good technical report writing skills and math skills
- Knowledge and experience of safe operation of metallurgical testing equipment
- Excellent organizational and team-leading skills
- Good communication skills and flexibility with working requirements and timing
