Bartender Position

As a bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service and creative mixology. We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our team in this key role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service: Listen to every guest and observe body language carefully to understand their needs and expectations. Consistently surprise and delight every guest with personalized attention.
  • Drink Creation: Have a good understanding of the outlet's concept and food and beverage offerings. Verbally explain these to guests with personality and flair.
  • Drink Preparation: Know how to mix and match ingredients to offer an outstanding selection of creative cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, spirits, beers, and wines. Garnish all drinks as per given standards and explain their characteristics.
  • Inventory Management: Set up daily bar counter and ensure mise en place, required ingredients, and equipment are prepared for efficient service.
  • Teamwork: Assist the Head Bartender and Bar & Beverage Manager in creating new mixed drinks and cocktails for promotional activities and new menus.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
  • Closing Duties: Close the bar at the end of each shift, including cleaning and sanitizing the bar area, equipment, and utensils, inventory check, and securely storing supplies.
  • Food Safety: Check and record the temperature of the bar fridges and follow the First In, First Out standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all food and beverage policies and procedures, as well as applicable beverage and liquor laws with responsible service of alcohol.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Secondary School 'O' Level or higher qualification.
  • Relevant experience as a bartender in a similar capacity providing customer service for at least one year.
  • Excellent verbal, reading, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand effective approaches of communication with different individuals.
  • Bartending competitions experience is an advantage.
