Job Title: Senior Process and Plant Engineer

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in biopharmaceuticals and API manufacturing. As a Senior Process and Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking routine tasks, providing technical support, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.

  • Undertake routine tasks for systems in your area of specialization (process and/or plant activities).
  • Provide advanced technical support to diagnose and resolve complex system issues, minimize downtime; determine troubleshooting methods and communicate issues and resolutions to management and colleagues.
  • Support Manufacturing and Engineering as required.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Identify improvement opportunities for critical systems and advise on process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in deviation and root cause investigations and provide advisory input.
  • Advise on system lifecycle changes, including upgrades, decommissioning, and revalidation requirements.
  • Provide project feasibility evaluation and input for front-end studies to support decision-making with site leadership and central functions.
  • Lead and support project sourcing and 3rd party contractor and supplier management to support capital project delivery.
  • Manage project execution work packages, including contract management.
  • Support T1 & T2 (Global Engineering) project integration to site routines, including technical/project support post-qualification and handover to site.
  • Participate in applicable COPs and ensure adherence to mandatory Sanofi and local regulatory compliance standards and policies, including construction safety GMRs, Planet Care standards, GMP, and FDA regulations/standards.
About You

Education

  • Degree in Engineering (Chemical / Mechanical / Pharmaceutical / Industrial & Systems).

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Process Engineering, Project Management and Execution in biopharmaceuticals or API manufacturing.
  • Good knowledge in process engineering, automation and instrumentation.
  • Experience in frontend feasibility studies and project execution.
  • PMP certification will be an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical issues.
  • Strong stakeholder and people management skills; ability to work effectively in a cross-functional matrix organization.
