Mobile Security Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Security Architect to join our team.


Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating mobile applications within our R&D project team structure in accordance with institutionalized processes and delivery standards.

They will also provide technical risk analysis, threat identification, and countermeasure recommendations to business requirements.

In addition, the Mobile Security Architect will participate in the design and development of mobile applications and libraries, and ensure that security standards and policies are followed.

They will also contribute to the improvement of existing technology platform/baseline and development methodology through prototyping and patent proposal.

Furthermore, they will stay up-to-date on the latest mobile security industry trends and threats, and provide available and by-initiative solutions.


Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and validate mobile applications within the R&D project team structure.
  • Provide technical risk analysis, threat identification, and countermeasure recommendations to business requirements.
  • Participate in the design and development of mobile applications and libraries.
  • Ensure that security standards and policies are followed.
  • Contribute to the improvement of existing technology platform/baseline and development methodology through prototyping and patent proposal.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest mobile security industry trends and threats.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Information Security/Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Proficient in applied cryptography, with proven ability to do security review of mobile applications to assess threat scenarios.
  • Minimum 2 years of total work experience in the field of Information Security, with at least 5 years' experience on mobile development.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile application development in iOS.
  • Proficient in native development, comfortable in performing binary reverse engineering, debug, and tracking.
  • Knowledgeable in available tools to facilitate such activity.
  • Willingness and interest to research and learn about threats and vulnerabilities that may be applicable to mobile applications.
  • Knowledge and experience on automated mobile test tools will be a plus.
  • Strong interest in mobile applications ecosystem is a must.
