Job Overview:

A Preschool Teacher is required to provide a nurturing environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess strong communication skills.

The teacher will be responsible for planning and conducting age-appropriate lessons and activities based on the school's curriculum. This will include creating a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that fosters physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development in children.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for observing, assessing, and documenting each child's progress and behavior. They will maintain classroom discipline using positive guidance techniques and establish strong communication with parents through daily updates, parent-teacher conferences, and progress reports.

In addition, the preschool teacher will ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in their care. They will work closely with the teaching team and principal to support school events and programs.

The requirements for this role include a minimum CPT, ACEY 1 & 2, and DPT in Early Childhood Care & Education (DECCE-T) or equivalent. L1 & L2 certification from ECDA is also necessary if working in Singapore. A passionate attitude towards working with young children and strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude are also required as a preschool teacher. The ability to work as a team player in a multicultural environment is a must.
