Clinical Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to fill this role.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for residents during admission and perform regular evaluations for in-house residents.
- Establish targeted treatment goals and implement occupational therapy intervention for in-house residents.
- Provide guidance to therapy assistants and program staff to deliver high-quality care in line with established standards.
- Advocate for evidence-based practices in therapy services.
- Develop, maintain, and update written policies, procedures, and workflows to support occupational therapy services.
- Monitor and ensure therapy services align with established policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Support the execution of residents' discharge plans to facilitate a seamless transition to community living.
- Provide training to caregivers to prepare them for residents' return to the community.
- Track quality performance metrics for therapy services and develop strategies for ongoing improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of all services provided and submit weekly case reports to the responsible individual.
- A degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
- Proficiency in pediatric therapy, particularly in Autism and Neuromuscular Disorders, is desired.
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience is necessary.
- Certification by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPC) is essential.
