PIMCO Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled professional to serve as a product expert for PIMCO's alternative strategies, including private credit funds, real estate funds, and hedge funds.

  • Serving as a subject matter expert internally and externally on PIMCO's alternative strategies.
  • Supporting product strategists in Asia Pacific business development and client service efforts.
  • Performing detailed portfolio research and quantitative analysis using Excel, Bloomberg, and database applications.
  • Supporting the Asia Pacific alternatives business management activities.
  • Conducting industry and competitor research to support product development activities.
  • Providing performance attribution analysis and writing market and strategy commentary for investor reports.

Main Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior knowledge of alternatives, including private credit, real estate, and hedge funds.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Strong time management and effective communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with Bloomberg.
  • Sharp focus on details and ability to work on multiple concurrent projects.
  • University degree in Business/Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or applied science.
  • CFA designation or active status in the CFA program is a plus.
