Job Title: AVP/Senior Associate, DevOps Engineer, EASRE, Group TechnologyJob Summary

DBS Bank Limited is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Group Technology team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure, from development to deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage the DevOps platform infrastructure, including installing new applications, configuration management, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Oversee end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for automating software delivery, including builds, tests, and deployments.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor systems and applications using automation tools to proactively detect, diagnose, and resolve issues.
  • Cloud Deployments: Ensure cloud-based deployments on private and public clouds are configured, secured, and optimized.
  • Security and Compliance: Apply security patches and system upgrades on a regular basis to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Test Automation: Evaluate new products and features, involve in Test and Production upgrade, and setup test automation to help the team in test automation execution.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with development and operations teams to establish DevOps best practices and processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with more than 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, practices, and methodologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, and AWS/Azure.
  • Monitoring Tools: Familiar with monitoring tools - Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
  • Application Architecture: Strong understanding of application architectures, source control management, build processes, and deployment pipelines.
  • Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and log aggregation tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to automate routine tasks, optimize systems, ensure uptime, and improve efficiency through DevOps practices.
  • Communication: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues independently or provide guidance to others, and effective communication and collaboration skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
