School ICT Trainer/AV Specialist

Description

This role is responsible for conducting computer training for students on multimedia applications. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Department (HOD) ICT to develop and review training resources, ensuring that they align with the school's needs and interests.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and training, with experience in developing multimedia content. They will be able to train students from primary 1 to 6 on digital literacy skills and safe use of online tools.

In addition to teaching duties, the successful candidate will assist in handling inventory of various AV/IT equipment and provide technical support for school functions, such as setting up Public Address (PA) equipment for events and meetings.

The successful candidate will also support school events in terms of photography and videography, including photo and video editing. They will be responsible for archiving, managing and organizing the school's media collection, as well as supporting website design and maintenance.

They will work closely with the HOD/SH ICT to assess student progress, monitor the effectiveness of ICT-related teaching programs, and recommend refinements to improve student learning outcomes.
