Traditional Chinese Medicine Physician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) physician to join our medical team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine check-ups and examinations to assess patients' health conditions, identify potential issues, and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide personalized advice on healthy habits, including diet, hygiene, and preventative actions to promote overall well-being.
  • Diagnose illnesses based on scientific knowledge, patient medical history, and intuitive questioning techniques.
  • Prescribe medications, interpret lab tests, and provide comprehensive instructions for administration.
  • Offer TCM treatment services such as acupuncture, cupping, and other therapies to promote healing and relaxation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and a high-performing medical team.
  • Maintain accurate records of patients' diseases, operations, and significant information.
  • Cultivate a compassionate and trustful environment for patients, addressing their concerns and needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with medical advancements and best practices through ongoing education and training.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a physician in a TCM setting.
  • Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
  • Excellent knowledge of infectious diseases, their symptoms, and epidemiology.
  • Broad knowledge of common medications, side effects, and contraindications.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Respect for patient confidentiality and compassion.
  • Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) and valid license to practice medicine.
