Key Responsibilities
  • To assist residents with their personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • To supervise and help residents with their daily activities, such as hand washing and medication management.
  • To maintain a clean and hygienic living environment by performing regular cleaning tasks and maintaining the home's overall cleanliness.
  • To ensure residents have access to nutritious meals and snacks, and that their dietary needs are met.
  • To provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans for residents.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience working with individuals with disabilities an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR.
  • Physical stamina to perform job duties, including lifting and transferring residents.
