Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organization. This includes guiding and coaching employees, providing on-the-job training, identifying issues in efficiency, and suggesting improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Operations Manager in running and overseeing the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
  • Guide and coach employees, monitoring their productivity.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new staff members.
  • Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
  • Recruiting quality employees to provide high-quality customer support.
  • Ensure safety measures are adhered to during waste sorting operations.
  • Handle tools and equipment.
  • Designing and implementing departmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
  • Developing strategies to improve department metrics and performance.
  • Perform any other work-related tasks assigned.

Requirements:

To be successful as an Operations Supervisor, you will need to have:

  • A degree in any business or management field with at least 5 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The ability to stand for long periods while performing primary roles.
  • A good working knowledge of operational procedures and policies.
  • Strong project management, administrative management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
