Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our veterinary clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incoming phone calls and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Demonstrate a passion for working with animals and provide excellent care and support to our clients and their pets
  • Offer frontline customer service, manage counter registrations, and schedule appointments with our veterinarians
  • Maintain accurate records and manage appointment bookings, ensuring seamless communication with our veterinary team
  • Perform basic administrative tasks, including data entry and filing
  • Place stock orders and maintain a well-stocked front desk area
  • Handle payment collection, prepare, and dispense medications as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other staff members
  • Proven experience in a front desk or administrative role, preferably in a veterinary clinic or animal-related setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
