Reliability and Maintenance Engineer for Semiconductor Manufacturing

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability and Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations PTE. LTD.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in maintaining critical environments. Responsibilities include planning, designing, and leading mechanical system expansion projects, as well as implementing predictive maintenance through SMART Facilities initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and lead mechanical system expansion projects to support tool utilities demand of future technology
- Responsible for continuous improvement of preventive maintenance programs for systems to achieve optimal system performance and uptime
- Maintain maintenance record for system fault history traceability, recommend and implement improvement/enhancement projects
- Engage in driving system reliability improvement initiatives to enable maximum equipment uptime and reduction of system interruption
- Lead troubleshooting and timely response to site for system abnormalities to reduce production impacts
- Perform effective capacity tracking and planning for mechanical systems
- Innovate ideas, implement predictive maintenance through SMART Facilities initiative in collaboration with control team
- Track and monitor equipment spare parts and consumable inventory
- Enforce company's environmental safety health policy and procedure, standard operating procedure with risk assessment, good housekeeping standard and quality policy when performing work
- Utilize computer-based software to document and analyze records of maintenance work order, equipment history and project tracking
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Design and Engineering background of mechanical systems such as HVAC and Exhaust systems is an advantage
- 5+ years of experience with mechanical facilities background in critical environments
- Ability to understand and use schematic, single-line drawing and related equipment and system documentation
- Ability to work in a team environment with various professional levels
- Considerable knowledge and application of problem-solving and data analysis methodology
- Considerable knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures and installation work
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
