We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
About the RoleThe Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing clinical nursing care and expertise to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. This will involve assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating the effectiveness of these plans.
Maintaining safe practices is crucial in this role. The Staff Nurse will be expected to work within reasonable costs to ensure that patients receive the best possible care while minimizing risks and complications.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of these plans.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care, including medical histories, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses.
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a degree in Nursing or an equivalent qualification.
- Be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.
- Have at least 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in Medical/Surgical Units or equivalent.
- Be able to work on shifts, including night shifts.
- Be highly adaptable to new challenging environments.
