Teaching Primary Chinese Language

The role requires a highly qualified and experienced educator to teach primary level students in various aspects of the Chinese language.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Chinese language to primary 1-6 students following the latest MOE syllabus.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons focusing on oral, writing, reading, and comprehension skills.
  • Mark assignments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Track student progress and collaborate with parents to support learning.
  • Prepare learning materials and contribute to curriculum development when required.
  • Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chinese Language, Education, or a related field.
  • Strong command of spoken and written Mandarin with the ability to explain in English.
  • Familiarity with the MOE Chinese syllabus for primary level.
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
  • Patient, encouraging, and passionate about teaching.
  • Able to work on weekends.
