About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer/MTS to accelerate NAND development learning cycles and achieve best-in-class cycle time from first silicon to qualified system.

You will be part of a forward-thinking team of engineers that solves complex problems, responsible for enabling products with flawless and issue-free release to both internal and external customers.

This role involves developing, validating, characterizing, and qualifying Micron's next generation 3D NAND memory products to power customers' innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Innovate new DFT solutions to reduce DPM, test time, yield hit, and cycle time for qualification.
  2. Partner with Design Engineering teams in Testmode development and innovations.
  3. Own Testmodes Definition to ensure all testing requirements are fulfilled.
  4. Drive testmode validation process in pre-silicon and post-silicon phases in collaboration with other PE teams.
  5. First responders to Silicon DFT related issues, driving silicon debug and experiments to come up with practical solutions.
  6. Enable best-in-class production testing capabilities and test time efficiencies for cost reductions.
  7. Lead efforts from PE side to reduce die size.
  8. Enable faster development of production DIDs by providing learnings from spider chips.
  9. Engage with System teams on innovation and solutions for defect management, improving yield and cycle time for qualification.
  10. Lead staging and strategy on future nodes to achieve best-in-class Design and System solutions to improve yield, quality, and test time.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 8+ years of product/design experience.
  2. Strong knowledge of CMOS technology and NAND/DRAM development.
  3. Proficient in tackling challenges, leveraging extensive experience in design rule, process, and product qualifications in logic or memory (NAND/DRAM/SRAM).
  4. Proficient in ASIC design flow: RTL design, verification, logic synthesis, and timing analysis.
  5. Familiar with DFT flow and verification.
  6. Experience with digital and analog simulation tools.
  7. Skilled in RTL development for logic or mixed-signal circuits.
  8. Leadership and mentoring experience preferred.
