Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled culinary professional to join our dynamic kitchen team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Sri Lankan cuisine and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • In charge of daily mise en place and ordering for assigned sections.
  • Carry out given recipes and instructions with precision and speed.
  • Ensure strict health and hygiene practices.
  • Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining kitchen equipment according to manufacturer's instructions.
  • Receiving stock and managing inventory rotation.
  • Monitoring food portions and waste to maintain profit margins.
  • Preparing staff meals on a rotational basis.
  • Adhering to schedules set by senior chefs.
  • Following safety and precaution guidelines in all daily activities.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Nitec / Higher Nitec/ Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience as a Demi Chef or Chef De Partie cook in a casual restaurant setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes.
  • Able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Food & Hygiene certificate is an added advantage.
