Cashier PT Job Description

As a Cashier PT, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth checkout process.

  • Process customer orders accurately to ensure proper recording of sales.
  • Handle all monies and tenders accurately to ensure proper accounting of all transactions.
  • Properly bag customers' orders, place in cart or hand to customer, and follow store procedures.
  • Work well with team members to achieve sales goals and grow the business.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Direct customers into their designated lanes to maintain customer flow.
  • Maintain cash controls and procedures to minimize shrink.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work well in a team environment.
  • Able to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 15 lbs. constantly.
  • Ability to read and understand information and direction.
  • Successful use of math skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to retrieve and push in shopping carts.
  • Ability to bend and lift to load customers' orders into cars.
