About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of health and safety policies and services that promote a strong safety and health culture within the NIE community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with NTU counterparts to implement and coordinate new initiatives and share information relating to workplace health and safety matters within NIE to meet NTU expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and evaluate health and safety policies and services.
  • Lead the development of strategic plans and proposals to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • A University degree.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in occupational workplace health and safety management, with practical knowledge and experience in implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Strong experience in ISO documentation, including ISO 45001, would be preferred.
  • Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong in Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and an eye for detail.
  • Highly motivated individual who can multi-task and work independently.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with different levels of people.
