Job Title: Danish Language Instructor

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced instructor to teach Danish language electives at the beginner and intermediate levels. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to excellence.

About the Department:

The department is dedicated to providing high-quality education and training in the fields of languages, culture, and international studies. Our team of instructors is passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise with students from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  2. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote improvement.
  3. Contribute to curriculum development and review to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Danish or a related field, preferably as a Foreign language (Dansk som andetsprog).
  • A native speaker or speaker with high proficiency of the Danish language (at least equivalent to Danskprøve 2).
  • Effectively bilingual in both Danish and English Language.
  • Knowledge in the application of IT in language teaching and experience with multimedia course materials.
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in higher education.
