Technical Support Specialist

Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Technical Support Specialist (System Analyst). You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our applications, providing expert-level technical support and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Provide level 2 application support, collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve incidents and restore service.
  • Offer primary application maintenance and support on a 24/7 basis.
  • Work closely with Level 3 teams to fulfill service requests and change requests.
  • Document and track incidents, service requests, and change requests, providing regular progress updates.
  • Coordinate testing and deployment of defect fixes, enhancements, and patches in production environments.
  • Lead system maintenance and upgrade activities, such as monthly maintenance, patching, and hotfix deployments.
  • Review and update project documentation and processes.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams and vendors to acquire necessary software and services.

Requirements:

  • Must have a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in application support and operations.
  • Strong understanding of IT technologies, methodologies, and processes, including SDLC and Agile.
  • Experience in application support and maintenance for mobile applications and web portals.
  • Proven track record in managing business users and working with other support teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is highly valued.
