As a Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager, you will interact and maintain a good working relationship with other Lonza teams and support QA, customer, and regulatory audits (internal and external).

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the warehouse and shipping areas are operated in a safe, cGMP manner at all times.
  • Assist in the review of logistics SOP's and build new ones as needed.
  • Generation and/or approval of relevant change requests and deviations.
  • Ensure that all inventory discrepancies are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Support QA, customer, and regulatory audits (internal and external).
  • Streamline area processes and work flows to increase area efficiency.
  • Interact and maintain a good working relationship with other Lonza teams.
  • Perform design review of warehouse processes, required infrastructure, warehouse layout review based on MPS (Manufacturing Production Schedule).
  • Own the onboarding of new customers by mapping their requirements, shipping process, and generation of relevant change requests.
  • Act as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) and complete the logistics assessment in track wise for change requests raised by other departments.
  • Maintain performance metrics and analyze data to assess results and make improvements.
  • Own the investigation for deviations (if any) and ensure the deviation write-up accurately covers all aspects of the deviation.
  • Monitor area paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
