Piano Instructor Position

We are seeking a skilled piano professional to develop and deliver customized piano lessons for students with varying skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design lesson plans that cater to individual student needs, promoting their growth and development as pianists.
  2. Prepare students for music examinations and annual recitals, fostering a sense of accomplishment and confidence.
  3. Deliver piano lessons in a supportive and encouraging environment, leveraging your expertise to bring out the best in each student.

Requirements and Skills:

  • A strong educational background in piano performance, preferably at the Grade 8/Diploma/Degree level from recognized examination boards.
  • Familiarity with the RSL Classical/Rockschool syllabus, with training provided to enhance your knowledge and skills.
  • An engaging, approachable, and energetic personality that inspires students to learn and grow.

Desirable Qualities and Skills:

  • Piano proficiency, with the ability to teach various styles and genres.
  • Knowledge of sponsorship opportunities, enabling you to connect students with relevant resources.
  • Training in RSL and Classical music, allowing you to provide comprehensive instruction.
  • Teaching experience, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Multilingualism, facilitating communication with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Arranging and composing skills, enhancing the richness of your teaching practice.
  • Music education expertise, equipping you to address the unique needs of each student.
