QC Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QC Laboratory Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The opportunity to extend or convert to a permanent role is available.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining laboratory equipment, including weighing balances, pH meters, and titration tools. This involves cross-checking with standard weights and calibrating the equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.

In addition to equipment setup and maintenance, the QC Laboratory Specialist will prepare lab reagents, buffer solutions, apparatus, tools, and agar plates for microbial testing. This requires strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing retention samples, production samples, and in-coming raw materials for QC testing
  • Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

To succeed in this role, you should have a diploma in Food Science, Chemical Process Technology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field. At least one year of working experience in a laboratory environment is required.

Experience with High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer is highly desirable. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent laboratory skills, please apply for this exciting opportunity.
