Job Title: Financial Lines Underwriting Manager

The role of Financial Lines Underwriting Manager involves overseeing the underwriting process for financial lines products. This includes proactively identifying new business opportunities, developing strategies to capitalize on growth potential, and conducting thorough opportunity assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underwriting, with a proven track record of analyzing and mitigating risk. They will be responsible for negotiating terms and conditions with clients and brokers, ensuring that all parties are aligned and committed to delivering value.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in insurance, finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in underwriting financial lines, with a proven track record of success and good personal reputation in the market.
  • Strong understanding of underwriting principles, risk assessment, and pricing strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
