TCM Physician Job Description

As a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Physician, you will provide professional and regulated TCM consultation, diagnosis, and treatment services to our patients. You will be responsible for attending to patient inquiries, developing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with our team of service consultants and therapists.

  • Provide TCM Consultations, Diagnoses, and Treatments: Offer expert TCM consultations, diagnoses, and treatments to patients based on their individual needs.
  • Patient Inquiries and Queries: Attend to patient inquiries and queries about TCM, providing clear and concise information.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement personalized TCM treatment plans based on patient needs, taking into account their medical history and current health status.
  • Collaboration with Team Members: Collaborate with the team to provide comprehensive treatment services, ensuring that all patients receive the best possible care.
  • Marketing Efforts: Assist in marketing efforts to promote public awareness of TCM services, helping to increase patient engagement and retention.
  • Staff Training: Conduct regular training sessions for staff, focusing on TCM principles and practices.
  • Code of Conduct and Regulations: Adhere to the TCM Physician's Code of Conduct and comply with relevant regulations, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

Requirements and Skills

To succeed as a TCM Physician, you will need the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine or equivalent qualification.
  • Registered TCM Practitioner: Be registered as a TCM Practitioner with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB).
  • Clinic Experience: Have prior clinic experience, preferably in a TCM setting.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
  • Team Player: Demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

Skills and Qualifications

You should have the following skills and qualifications to excel in this role:

  • Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Medical Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of medical concepts, including anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
  • TCM Principles: Familiarity with TCM principles, theories, and practices.
  • Public Health: Understanding of public health principles and practices.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
