Senior Engineering Manager

Our company seeks a seasoned Senior Engineering Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects. This is a senior leadership role that requires excellent technical knowledge, management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Job Description:

The Senior Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the successful completion of projects. This includes coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate engineering projects from inception to completion
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement engineering policies and procedures
  • Manage resources to optimize project outcomes

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or its equivalent
  • Local design experience in C&S engineering work and conversant with Singapore Building Codes and Practices
  • Familiarity with engineering software (e.g. Tedds, StaadPro, Prota, Etab) and submission procedures to regulatory authorities
  • Strong report writing skills to prepare and furnish reports
  • Registered with Singapore PE Board as Professional Engineer
