Job Description:

As a Junior Sustainability Officer, you will play a key role in contributing to the development and implementation of our organization's sustainability initiatives. This position involves monitoring and reporting on environmental performance, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with teams to drive positive change.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Environmental Management System (EMS) Portal Monitoring: Regularly review and analyze data from the EMS portal to identify trends, irregularities, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Solar Panel System Support: Monitor solar energy generation and usage trends, coordinate maintenance requests as needed, and track energy performance metrics.
  • New Sustainability Initiatives: Research and support the evaluation of new green technologies, conduct basic feasibility assessments, and assist in proposal write-ups.
  • Sustainability Engagement and Communication: Prepare materials for staff awareness and training, organize green campaigns and internal events, and maintain sustainability documentation and reporting logs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of EMS or building energy systems.
  • Comfortable with data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, curious, and passionate about sustainability and innovation.
