We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced researcher to join our team as an Adjunct Associate Professor in Physics, specializing in plasma physics for fusion clean energy. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and collaboration with our Division of Physics and Applied Physics (PAP).

The successful applicant will be responsible for working with PAP colleagues to develop new techniques for plasma turbulence measurements using microwave diagnostics. They will also be expected to engage in collaborated research with PAP colleagues in the fusion science programme and explore international collaborations in fusion science and technology.

To be eligible for this position, applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in physics and have substantial experience in modelling microwave diagnostics to measure fluctuations in fusion plasmas. They should also be able to demonstrate their ability to publish in top-tier journals in plasma physics and model radio frequency wave propagation in turbulent media.
