Job Description

This Deputy Manager role will focus on establishing and maintaining partnerships both internally and externally to support the Holistic Student Development Framework. You will analyze data to drive improvements in programmes, processes, and operations, ensuring effective communication channels within the department for stakeholder engagement. Additionally, you will manage and mentor student Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) groups within the department.

  • Business Development:
    • Establish and maintain meaningful partnerships both internally and externally to foster collaboration and innovation.
    • Foster collaboration between Career Development and Academic Schools to develop and enhance CCA programs.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of CCA initiatives in achieving student learning outcomes and engagement metrics.
    • Lead or assist in ad-hoc special projects and institutional events when required.
  • Data Strategy:
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data and feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Assess department performance and make data-driven recommendations to improve programmes, processes, and operations.
    • Lead assessment efforts to measure programme outcomes and impact.
    • Monitor and track goals and data for the department.
  • Communications:
    • Develop and maintain effective communication channels to keep stakeholders informed of department initiatives, achievements, and opportunities for involvement.
    • Oversee the department branding and communication outreach, including developing SD's brand identity and managing social media and website.
  • CCA Management:
    • Plan and implement programs to develop CCA clubs in SP.
    • Guide and develop students, managing administrative matters for the clubs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5 years of relevant working experience in business development and communications, preferably in education or student development. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office suite and possess strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Benefits and Compensation

The successful applicant will be offered a competitive salary of SGD 120,000 per annum, reflecting the value of your expertise and experience. This includes a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, retirement plan, and annual leave.
