Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative autonomy engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and deploying perception and visual SLAM pipelines that power our next generation of robots.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer vision, robotics, and programming languages such as C++17+ and Python on Linux. They will be able to develop real-time perception pipelines for detection, tracking, and freespace estimation, implement and optimize visual SLAM with relocalization and place recognition, integrate outputs with navigation and safety systems, calibrate and tune RGB-D, stereo, LiDAR, and IMU sensors, evaluate and select sensors and algorithms balancing accuracy, cost, and compute, integrate and optimize deep learning models for on-robot inference, and maintain strong collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 0–2 years' robotics/computer vision experience or exceptional academic projects
  • Proficient in C++17+ and Python on Linux
  • Experience with ROS/ROS2 and sensor calibration
  • Hands-on with perception or SLAM pipelines
  • Familiarity with OpenCV, PCL, and basic deep learning frameworks
