  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Floor Manager
About the Role

The Restaurant Floor Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of wait staff, ensuring that they provide exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

This role involves supervising staff, mentoring and training new recruits, assigning duties and responsibilities, monitoring performance, conducting regular evaluations and addressing any issues that may arise.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to communicate effectively with staff and customers, and possess a strong commitment to delivering outstanding results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, train, and mentor waitstaff; assign duties and responsibilities to waitstaff for each shift; monitor the performance of waitstaff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that guests receive high-quality service; address customer complaints and concerns professionally and promptly; train waitstaff on proper customer service etiquette and standards.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules for waitstaff, taking into account staffing needs and workload.
Requirements

To be successful as a Restaurant Floor Manager, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role; preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
