As an Audio Visual Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional technical support for audio visual equipment and services within the school. Your primary responsibilities will include setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting AV equipment to ensure seamless delivery of events, meetings, and lessons.

Key tasks will involve providing technical support for lighting, audio, video, and stage requirements for events organized by the Authority or external organizations. You will also be responsible for supporting school staff in setting up AV equipment for various events, meetings, and lessons as required.

In addition to these duties, you will assist teachers with video recording of school events and lessons when needed, manage and operate school digital signages, provide assistance to ICT staff, and source AV-related solutions and services as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess a Diploma qualification, preferably with 3 years of experience in a school environment. Relevant skills and experience on AV equipment handling and systems are essential, along with proficiency in operating and simple troubleshooting audiovisual equipment, including sound systems, projectors, video cameras, lighting equipment, and control systems.

Furthermore, familiarity with audio and video editing software, such as Audacity, Reaper, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, Capcut, etc., is desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are highly valued.
