About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Research Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for designing and executing cutting-edge research projects in various fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Immersive Media, and more.

Your primary focus will be on developing innovative solutions to complex problems, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and mentoring students on their final-year projects. You will also be involved in conceptualizing and submitting research proposals to secure grants from government funding schemes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute research projects in emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with researchers, developers, and students to achieve project milestones.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor students on their final-year projects.
  • Conceptualize and submit research proposals to secure grants.
  • Oversee awarded industry and funded projects.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
  • At least 2-4 years of relevant industry and/or research experience in areas like AI, Analytics, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and Immersive Media.
  • Experience working in technical project teams.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Java, and others.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
