Job Title:
Senior Security Officer.

Job Description:
Sofitel hotels are known for their luxury and high standards. As a senior security officer, you will play a key role in maintaining these standards and ensuring the safety of our guests and employees.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellence and a can-do attitude. You will be responsible for patrolling hotel areas, detecting any suspicious behavior or activity, and conducting investigations into any incidents that may occur.

Key responsibilities include:
Patrol lobby, guest room corridors, back of house areas, public areas and surroundings to detect any suspicious personnel or activity.
Conduct investigations and keep hotel management informed regarding accidents, losses, theft etc.
Accompany the duty manager whilst investigating irregularities in guest rooms and public areas when required.
Ensure wherever possible that employees are provided with a work place free of discrimination, harassment and victimisation.
Record details of significant incidents and activities that may occur during the shift
Coordinate investigations with the police regarding crimes, accidents involving hotel guests and ambassadors
Ensure Security Checkpoint/Office is manned, clean and tidy at all times.

Requirements:
Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality Management
Minimum of 2 year(s) of experience in a similar capacity with proven track records
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
Security related certification required
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
