Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead our architectural projects in Singapore. As the project director, you will be responsible for overseeing extensive construction projects and strategically relevant initiatives.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position that requires exceptional management skills, leadership expertise, and experience in the architecture and construction industry. You will lead the internal project team and external partners, including engineers and specialist planners, to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage specific projects from initiation to completion.
  • Chair and attend client, contractor, and design meetings to ensure project progress and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Negotiate service contracts with clients and subconsultants, as well as manage change requests.
  • Oversee all architectural teams involved in the project and coordinate with various disciplines, including structural, mechanical, electrical, medical planning, interior design, and landscaping.
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, material samples, method statements, and other critical project documents.
  • Liaise with the design team on design and coordination issues.
  • Monitor on-site work progress, resolve arising issues, and establish site office operations requirements.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have a recognized degree in architecture, be registered with the Board of Architects in Singapore, and possess at least 10 years of relevant experience. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings, and construction practices. You should also be familiar with local building codes and regulations, authority requirements, and compliance abilities. A team-oriented personality with the ability to work collaboratively with design and site personnel is crucial.

What We Offer:

As a Senior Project Manager at BeathChapman (Pte. Ltd.), you can expect a competitive salary range of SGD $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
