Our company seeks a highly skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist to join its team. As an IAM Specialist, you will play a crucial role in administering user accounts and access privileges in our organization's identity management system.

Key responsibilities of this position include actively participating in IAM projects and initiatives, collaborating with internal customers, business analysts, and application teams to understand access requirements.

Maintaining documentation for the IAM program and participating in audits to review access control reports, identifying potential risks are also essential tasks.

You will be responsible for providing training to new users on the IAM system, managing user accounts and permissions, and enforcing company policies and procedures related to identity and access management.

Monitoring user activity in the IAM system, reporting on system activity, and addressing any identified issues will be critical to your success in this role.

Additionally, you will work closely with the IAM team to resolve problems and stay updated on best practices in identity and access management.

Key skills required for this position include expertise in operating systems like Linux and Windows, directory services such as LDAP and Active Directory, security protocols like SSH and TLS, and IAM tools like Okta and Ping Identity.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, along with strong analytical and organizational abilities, are necessary for success in this role.

Other key qualifications for this position include experience with cloud platforms, project management methodologies, and CISSP/CISM certifications.
