Counsellor/Social Worker

We are seeking a professional to join our team as a Counsellor/Social Worker.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Provide counselling services to individuals, couples, and families;
- Work with divorced or divorcing parents to resolve co-parenting disputes;
- Facilitate supervised visitation sessions for children and parents in high-conflict divorce cases;
- Conduct psycho-educational and therapeutic group programs for parents and children;
- Maintain accurate case documentation and program statistics;
- Prepare reports for the Family Justice Court.
- Qualifications:
- Counsellors: Master's degree in counselling recognized by SAC; Registered clinical member with SAC (or in the process of applying);
- Social Workers: Recognised bachelor's degree in social work (or higher); Registered social worker with SWAAB (or in the process of applying);
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience;
- Ability to work with other professionals;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to handle sensitive information;
- Proficient in maintaining detailed documentation;
- Ability to assess and manage risks;
- Competent in working with conflictual couples and families;
- Ability to compile data for reporting and trend analysis;
- Excellent team player with coordination and collaborative skills;
- Capability to take on a leadership role;
- Fluent in another language is a plus;
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
