Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform. This is a challenging opportunity to develop your skills in designing, building, and managing cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud services such as Compute Engine, Storage, and Networking.
- Develop and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes (GKE) for efficient and scalable solutions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager for rapid deployment and updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices in CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring for high-quality and reliable solutions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery for business continuity.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency without compromising quality or security.
- Maintain and improve security practices in accordance with compliance standards and industry best practices.
- Document architecture, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes (preferably GKE).
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Cloud Build for efficient development and deployment.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go for automating tasks and developing applications.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent for rapid deployment and management.
- Google Cloud certification (Associate Cloud Engineer or similar) and Kubernetes certification (CKA – Certified Kubernetes Administrator or CKAD – Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) for proven expertise.
- Proven experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, etc., for comprehensive understanding of cloud technologies.
