Technical Service Specialist

As a Technical Service Specialist, you will be reporting to the Chief Engineer within a dynamic organization that operates across a diverse portfolio in the petrochemical industry. This role offers an opportunity to work with customers, providing hands-on technical support and solving issues from troubleshooting to product recommendations, including used oil analysis.
The successful candidate will build and nurture strong technical partnerships with key clients, ensuring long-term success and aligning with our business strategy. Key responsibilities include leading initiatives like plant and equipment audits, lubrication surveys, and field trials. You will also work closely with members of the sales team to ensure technical strategies are fully aligned with overall sales objectives.
Additional responsibilities include delivering customized training to customers and collaborating with oil supplier partners to resolve technical matters. As a key member of the sales meetings team, you will offer cross-functional technical support to enhance decision-making and business outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Diploma or degree in Chemical, Marine, or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in a technical environment (preferably lubricants and related applications)
- Solid technical background and exceptional presentation skills
- Able to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively
- Self-starter who works well independently but thrives in a collaborative team environment
