Job Overview

We are seeking an Architectural Design Coordinator to lead our team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Architecture and 5-7 years of relevant experience in design and build building projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architectural services and other trades on-site to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Manage architectural work scheduling, material procurement, cost control, project oversight, and documentation.
  • Implement, monitor, and review a construction management plan to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Supervise and inspect all architectural work performed by sub-contractors to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain beneficial relationships between the project, client, subcontractors, community, and external parties.
  • Support the Project Manager in coordinating civil, structural, architectural, and system-wide contractors.
  • Study drawings and coordinate architectural works with consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical/site issues.
  • E nsure architectural works are carried out according to specifications/drawings.
  • Inform the Project Director/Manager on technical/site problems related to architectural works.
  • Supervise the progress of architectural works on site and coordinate sub-contractor's work to meet schedule requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with architectural specifications and achieve quality aspects without deviation to authority requirements.
  • Carry out architectural works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision, and documentation according to the master programme.
  • Prepare and coordinate quality management and CONQUAS assessment.

Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture, preferably recognized by BOA.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant main contractor experience in Design & Build building projects.
  • Good knowledge of architectural specifications, architectural & MEP coordination works, and requirements.
  • Possess strong leadership skills.
  • Commitment and responsibility towards the role.
