Job OverviewThe position of Software Solutions Specialist is a key role within our organization. This individual will be responsible for delivering profitable software solutions to customers at the factory level.This requires a deep understanding of our products, software expertise, and custom software capabilities.Main Responsibilities
  • Software Expertise
    • Expertise in critical manufacturing products, including Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Semiconductor markets.
    • Support for digital product business development across various regions.
    • Expertise in equipment interface technologies, such as Operations Information Broker, Hermes, SECS/GEM, and CFX.
  • Factory Solution Delivery
    • Delivery of material logistics and automation projects, including integration with customer MES/ERP systems.
  • Custom Software Solutions
    • Designing and delivering custom software solutions.
    • Providing custom integration solutions to MES systems and third-party systems.
  • Additional Tasks
    • Perform solution analysis, proposal specification, effort estimation, implementation, testing, installation, and acceptance at customer sites.
    • Provide technical support to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with global and regional teams on combined projects, sharing product knowledge and technologies.
    • Follow guidance from the Design Authority and Configuration Manager regarding software development standards.
    • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
