The Site Construction Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects. Key responsibilities include assisting site teams with project progress and related aspects, monitoring and reviewing construction programs, preparing catch-up programs if necessary, and overseeing engineers/foremen to ensure compliance with quality procedures and workmanship standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate site activities, including preparation of detailed programs for site teams and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Resolve technical difficulties with the technical team, prepare method statements and work instructions for construction, and coordinate between subcontractors/vendors/internal departments.
- Monitor site manpower/material/equipment demands to meet schedules, liaise with consultants on structural works submissions and technical department matters, and plan all site works, including program schedules and construction methods.
- Maintain technical expertise and knowledge in foundation, structural, and building works, adhere to safety practices in the workplace, and maintain proficiency in Microsoft Project.
