Job Title: Senior Operations Strategist

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Operations Strategist to lead our operations team in developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for our workforce.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Assistant Director/Director in identifying, monitoring, communicating and reviewing the Department's performance/outcome indicators to ensure effective and efficient achievement of department or hospital goals.
  • Plan and review resource (manpower and financial) allocation strategically to meet competing objectives.
  • Develop and implement the Total Workplace Safety and Health (TWSH) framework with a stronger focus on Occupational Health and Staff Protection.
  • Lead the Secretariat for Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council and Occupational Health (OH) Committee.
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of new TWSH projects or programmes from conceptualisation to execution.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of TWSH programmes and drive continuous improvement to ensure overall objectives are met.
  • Lead and undertake any hospital projects assigned.
  • Participate in emergency planning exercises and provide support in hospital emergencies or incidents when required.

 

Requirements:

  • Good Bachelor's degree and above. A workplace safety and health-related degree is preferred.
  • At least 7-10 years of relevant working experience and supervisory experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience with practical aspects of hospital operations, workplace safety and health or occupational health is an advantage.
  • Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Critical and strategic thinking with analytical, meticulous, process-oriented skills and the ability to translate organisational goals into actionable strategies and plans.
  • Good leadership skills with a track record of leading teams to achieve ambitious goals and objectives.
  • Good organisational, coordination and project management skills.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MOM Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) certification is an advantage.
